NMBA launches new website
Cincinnati--NMBA announced today that it is a different functioning Corporation. The differences are quite noticeable and yet subtle. Founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1993 as the National Network for Ethnic Businesses it was formed to address the lack of any organization focused on the needs of minority businesses. It was a membership organization and was well supported by local businesses. Some members were concerned that the name of the organization wasn’t representative of all the potential members it could have with a different name. In 2000 the name was changed to National Minority Business Alliance and proceeded with attracting a broader base of memberships in the organization. Now the NMBA will no longer focus on being a membership organization, it will be focusing on providing to its clients the opportunity to purchase services. Those services include providing explanation on several legal entities that will greatly increase their profitability and documentation for those entities. This new direction is an exciting new direction for the NMBA and will provide even greater service to former members as well as open up new opportunities for more clientele.
